summer work

At last can settle down to some good work, after moving house and getting over a strained arm muscle — Brahms’ 2nd Concerto, which I’ll play with the Slovak State Philarmonia in early October (3rd – Kosice, 4th – Levoca), and Sorabji’s Symphony no.6 for solo piano (Netherlands 27th Oct, Oxford 2 Nov).

My latest CD is now in the factory, and will soon be available. Jānis Mediņš’ 24 Dainas were written over a period of 40 years.
