Next week is very exciting as I will play in Norway for the first time, thanks to the excellent Borealis Festival and its artistic director Alwynne Pritchard. I’ll even be playing in the Troldsalen, the concert hall built to complement the Grieg Museum in his house Troldhaugen. The programme combines late-Romantic, early modern and contemporary musings on death and the afterlife (the theme of this year’s festival is THE END) by Liszt, Ives, Scriabin, Scelsi, Aperghis and Radulescu.
