Here is a list of my concerts this Autumn. Mostly Messiaen (newly learned earlier this summer) and Albeniz (continuing the touring I did of Iberia earlier in the year), but with some exciting new things: my wife Irena and I will give our first complete piano duet concert, including a new piece written for us by Morgan Hayes, I will be playing some Szymanowski near his birthplace in Ukraine, and I’ll be going back to JAMU (the Janacek Academy) in Brno, taking with me not only the 20 regards but also pieces by Aperghis, Barrett and Radulescu that I learned earlier in the year. I’ll also play some brand new pieces there, too. I’m also really looking forward to going back to Denmark, and playing more 2-piano repertoire with the excellent Jørgen Hald Nielsen, a man never afraid of a challenge (I mean the programme, not working with me, although he may beg to differ on this).
